Rolls-Royce special version for the rich Middle East

[24HCAR] - Rolls-Royce has unveiled two new models named: Phantom Coupe Shaheen and Phantom Bayunah dedicated to customers in Abu Dhabi.

Two special version is based on two different themes inspired by the culture and natural landscape of Abu Dhabi.

4-door models show inspiration from Baynunah, located in the western area of the kingdom, famous for sand dunes. Phantom Baynunah, interior and exterior is a combination of beige and brown with golden brown hood. The detailed decorative embroidery, mosaic ... were done manually at the Rolls-Royce factory at Goodwood (England).

Area is famous with eagles, Shaheen, was used to create model Phantom Coupe. White body makes interiors red tones more prominent when the doors opened. Each symbol eagle is results from 21,011 embroidered lines, creating a unique interior of the Phantom Coupe Shaheen.

Hidalgo - great products from Switzerland

Car manufacturer Swiss lesser-known Helvetic Motor Company (HMC) has created a certain cachet when launching model Hidalgo impressive. There style akin supercar the Bugatti Type 57 in 1930, Hidalgo property fullness curves, elegant, classic style.

Officially released Joss JP1 Supercar

[24HCAR] - Joss Developments Company of Australia has just officially announced the specifications for JP1 supercar. This will be an improved version of powerful, superior to the old version.

JP1 has length is 4450mm, width 1860mm, height is 1100 mm and some details were Australian car manufacturer replace by sheets of carbon to reduce vehicle weight.

Supercar equipped with a V8 engine, producing a capacity of up to 507 horsepower (500 hp/373 kW). It is connected to a six-speed manual gearbox, can help the car accelerate from 0-100 km/hour less than 3.0 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 340 km/hour (approximately 211 miles).

JP1 use gearbox by Albins production in Australia. Box speed reduction can withstand a high capacity and a torque output, and also to provide suitable terrain.

The JP1 had been introduced at the Melbourne Motor Show exhibit in 2004.

With a limited number, only 25 were produced, so JP1 has priced 500,000 AUD equivalent to $ 455,875. However, the company still refused to announce the release date JP1.

New Hyundai Elantra will to the U.S. in late 2010

U.S. version has not been revealed but in Korea, Avante equipped 1.6 liter I4 engine gasoline direct injection GDI (Gas Direct Injection), capacity 140 hp and maximum torque of 171 Nm. Customers can select the version 6-speed the floor gearbox or 6-speed automatic. Fuel consumption for the floor gearbox is only 5.8 liters of 100 kilometers.

Depending on version which Avante was equipped devices such as Parking assistance SPAS (Smart Parking Assist System), HID headlamps.

Interior Avante with improvements different than Sonata. The smoother on the Sonata were replaced with stylized blocks. Panel center connects to gearbox. Elantra make cruel than Sonata.

New generation Honda Civic on the road test in Germany

[24HCAR] - Japanese car manufacturer are testing the ninth generation of the midsize sedan. By 2011, the new Civic will be available on the market.

According to product cycle, new generation Civic will be released in this year. But Honda has moved to 2011 and revealed the car will lighter and more economical.

U.S. and Asian versions can be different design, depending on each market strategy of Honda.

At Tokyo exhibition 10/2009, Director of Honda North America Tsuneo Tanai said, the redesign model has gone half way. Next-generation Civic is expected larger than current models. However, the exterior was designed closer to the present generation.

Only Civic, Honda has a turnover of about a million cars sold globally each year, in which the U.S. market about 1/3.

Mendel confirmed, the new generation Civic delayed debut time, but crossover CR-V developed based on the Civic will still complete five year cycle properly. Current model has been on the market in autumn 2006 and the next generation will appear next year.

Ferrari to announce prices 599 GTO

[24HCAR] - Ferrari has released new images and starting price of model 599 GTO - supercar is called "speed king".

599 GTO model was developed based on the platform of 599XX - upgraded version of the 599 GTB supercar. In other words, GTO is long street car high performance - Grand Tourer.

GTO was equipped with V12 engine, 6.0 liters like the Ferrari Enzo, but has been upgraded to reach the maximum capacity is 661 horsepower, maximum torque of 620 Nm. Surprisingly, 599 GTO was capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in just 3.35 seconds and can reach a maximum speed of 208 mph (333 km/h).

The weight of the 599 GTO would have been reduced to 430 lbs (195 kg) compared with 599 GTB model and is only 3295 lbs (1495 kg).

599 GTO fuel consumption 17.5 liters/100 km and CO2 emissions are 411g/km. GTO complete Fiorano test round takes 1 minute 24 seconds(the Enzo takes 1:24:9).

The GTO comes with F1-inspired aerodynamics, including a new front splitter, side sills, rim diffusers, a double curve rear diffuser and a rear spoiler. The car rides on a set of 20 inch wheels that uses special donuts to further enhance aerodynamics.

The car has a price of $460,000 and will be limited production at 599 units.
