BMW to recall 5-Series in China

[24HCAR] - On 27/7, BMW has announced recall of 5000-6000 5-Series sedan cars imported into China by the fuel sensor problem.


BMW will recovery about 12,400 vehicles 5-Series sedan in the U.S. and China. German car manufacturer newly launch line 5-Series sedan new generation in the spring of this year.

General Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China (AQSIQ) do not publish on this issue. Meanwhile, BMW said that the sensor can read not accurately  the amount of petrol left in car.
