Honda will have a new small car

[24HCAR] - Honda will begin production of a cheap small car in India and Thailand. This model is based on New Small Compact(NSC) has launched in January at the Delhi Motor Show 2010 and is expected to sell for under $ 10,500.


CEO and Chairman Takanobu Ito of Honda said the new cars will be exported to other markets in Asia - Pacific.

NSC concept that Honda debuted earlier this year at the Motor Show in Delhi is the 5-door hatchback car with designs like miniature version of the Honda Fit.

In India, the NSC - the actual production version will have a new name - will compete directly with Toyota Etios, models will be available on the market early next year, as well as new Ford Figo model release recently and Nissan Micra models be redesigned.
