Nissan recall 51,100 cars by the fire dangers

[24HCAR] - Car manufacturer Japan has just statement recall 51,100 cars Cube compact in  North American market after discovery of the risk of fuel leakage can cause fire after the collision.


According to Traffic Safety Committee U.S. National (NHTSA), Cube models 2009 and 2010 leaked fuel over the permitted level when collisions at speeds of 80km/h, so potentially high risk of fire.

Last week, Nissan stopped selling and importing Cube model from Japan to the United States and Canada. The market outside North America are not affected from this recall.

Nissan's spokesman, Mr Colin Price said that the previous results done by this group does not have any fuel leak occurs, but the group still calls for voluntary delivery from customers. Expected, Nissan will contact customers in last August. These vehicles are recovered will be attached to a special department to protect against oil leakage, to the present time there are no reports about cases of injury or accident of the driver Nissan Cube.
