Porsche can introduce the Cayman Clubsport

[24HCAR] - According to some news from American media, German carmakers Porsche will introduce a lighter version of the current Cayman - Cayman Clubsport - at LA motor show 2010.


Information about the project Cayman Clubsport received much positive feedback from the Porsche dealer in Europe and America, according to some American newspapers, this car will be put into production after the first debut at LA motor show held in November this year.

Cayman Clubsport can be introduced as a concept similar Porsche Boxster Spyder, been debuted in Los Angeles exhibition in 2009. Spyder is special edition of the Boxster series, along with the Cayman, Porsche will be replaced in 2012.

Although not yet released but the Cayman Clubsport may lighter than standard version is about 80kg, thanks to the efforts "weight loss" in these parts like wheels, doors and interior. At the same time the engine was also upgraded to help Clubsport can accelerate from 0-100 km/h faster than the Cayman S 0.5 seconds.

But the Porsche has not officially confirmed for debut Cayman Clubsport, a spokesman of Porsche said it is just rumor, he said: "We do not have any assertion about the birth Cayman Clubsport, but that model has long been mentioned as a project similar to the introduction of the Boxster Spyder."
